How to Reset and Change Comcast Email Password

  • Go to xfinity.com/password to reset your password.
  • Now enter your “Comcast username” and press the “Continue” button.
  • Go to xfinity.com/username if you can’t remember your username. 0Complete the security check by entering the requisite “Captcha” before proceeding.
  • Then, from the options provided, choose the best method for recovering your password. Then pick “Continue.”
  • If you do not want to access the link via “Email” or “Text”, you can click on “Try a different method”. You can decide a secret question and set an answer for the same.
  • On the next screen, tap “Continue” to confirm your choice.
  • A message of confirmation will appear. If you chose to reset your password by “Username,” go to your “Email inbox” and press the “Reset my password” button. If you chose to reset your password via “Text,” enter the reset code sent to your “Registered phone number.” After that, press the “Continue” button.
  • Your “New password” can now be developed and confirmed. Then pick “Continue” from the drop-down menu.
  • Finally, you’ll see a confirmation message on your phone. With your new password, you can now access your Comcast email account.
  • Logging into your Comcast email account is the first move.
  • Then, at the end, go to the “My account” tab.
  • You’ll have access to a rundown of your Comcast account.
  • Select “Manage users and settings” from the drop-down menu.
  • Select “Change Password” from the drop-down menu.
  • Now, for your Comcast email account, create a new password. Make sure the new password is unbreakable.
  • To validate the new password, type it twice.
  • To save your password, press the “Save password” button.
  • Finally, use your new password to log into your Comcast account.
  • Use the “Xfinity My Account App” to get started.
  • Using your credentials to “sign in.”
  • Go to the “Account Detail” section.
  • Select “Change Password” from the drop-down menu.
  • Fill in your Xfinity Comcast email account’s “latest password.”
  • Then, for your account, type in a “New password.”
  • To validate the new password, type it again.
  • To save your new password for your account, press “Save.” You can obtain confirmation after the password has been successfully updated.
  • Maintain a password length of 8 to 16 characters for your Comcast account.
  • It is easier to crack a password that contains your first name, last name, username, or user ID. As a consequence, make sure that none of these characters appear in your Comcast account password.
  • Many people use their birthday or a nickname as their password. This also makes it easier for hackers to find out the password. Make sure you don’t make the same mistake.
  • In your password, include at least one letter, one number, and one special character. If you’re thinking of using a space in your password, bear in mind that Comcast doesn’t allow it.
  • Long passwords are difficult for hackers to crack. As a result, we strongly advise you to keep your password long.
